This app is NOT a parasite diagnosis application but assists in a complex chemistry workflow. The app quantifies the color green in a photo with relation to negative and positive controls.((Patient Value-AVG(Negative Values)))/(((AVG(Positive Value))-(AVG(Negative Value)))After taking a picture of your PCR samples, the app will display a screen with your photo on top and controls on the bottom. On the left side of the controls are 3 radio buttons: Positive Controls, Negative Controls, and Patient Samples. To begin the process tap the words, "Positive Controls". The radio button will light up next to words and a cross hair will over the photo. Drag the cross hair to the first positive control in your image and press the "Submit" button on the right side of the controls. Continue this process for the rest of your positive controls. Next, repeat this process for your "Negative Controls". Finally, press "Patient Samples", drag the new cross hair to the patient sample and press "Submit". A banner will appear that indicates the percentage of green in your patient sample, as normalized by your positive/negative controls. If you have more than one patient sample, simply dismiss the banner and tap "Patient Samples" again, all previously entered positive/negative values will remain. If at any time you make a mistake, press the "Clear" button and all positive/negative values will be erased.
